 December 2005 In the winter of '05 we made a trip to San Diego, California to see our newborn twin nieces for the first time and to assist in helping with their care (see the twins posted in 'Rockin the Bears' ). In addition to caring for the twins, we spent valuable time with their big sister. I have captured numerous images of her since birth but this one has to be my favorite. We had so much fun seeing all the little girls on that visit. One day we went to the beach and I was able to capture the previous posting, 'Beach Runner' of this same little sweetheart. | ABOUT ME: I've always been drawn to beauty. Years ago, I thought I wanted to be an artist and draw what I saw but that was somewhat frustrating at times and as it is with most artists, the inspiration is either on or off. Then I met the love of my life, who became my wife. I wanted to photograph her so I started learning photography and the rest is history. I love nature & landscape photography. I enjoy shooting still life images and even doing abstract versions of various subjects at times. I worked in a photo lab for 25 years, shot & processed everything from 35mm to 4x5 but now have transitioned to digital. I now process my images using photoshop and I'm not going back. I love to share my work with others and really appreciate the comments that I receive from time to time.  |
